ACOTAR Movie Dream Casting

Happy August everyone:)

This dream casting post has taken me a lot of time and energy because some of these characters are beyond flawless (*cough cough* Rhysand). Let me know who your dream cast is for the A Court of Thorns and Roses series! 

I am kind of basing these castings off of appearance and how I pictured all of these characters in the book!

1. Feyre: Emma Watson

• I’m a little skeptical about this casting because Feyre is someone I have a hard time picturing in the book. Emma is perfect in every way though so I’m not mad about this casting. She can be tough and a badass but also soft and loving!

2. Tamlin: Chris Hemsworth OR Chace Crawford

• Tamlin is tricky to cast because I need someone who is easily likeable but can also turn into the most hated character. I like the idea of Chris Hemsworth but I also like Chace’s appearance so if we could combine those it would make the perfect Tamlin. 

3. Elain: Zoey Deutch 

• Elain can be very innocent and loving and that’s why I picked Zoey for this role because she can turn up the caring and little sister vibes and from what I’ve seen of her, she will be able to play Elain really well. And her appearance is what I always pictured when reading the series!

4. Nesta: Claire Holt

• Oh my god! I’m really proud of my pick for this. Nesta’s a bitch, that’s common knowledge. She’s always nasty and she is always ruining moments in the book (in my opinion). I’ve seen Claire Holt in a few things and I know she would be able to play Nesta perfectly. She can be nice sometimes but I’ve also seen her snap at people and really attack someone LOL. 

5. Lucien: Sam Heughan 

• I kind of pictured Lucien with the same facial structure as Sam Heughan but not the same build. I pictured him to be more scrawny looking and secretly strong so I’m not too sure about this one. 

6. Rhysand: Brant Daugherty

• OKAY! I’m a little iffy on this one because I don’t think there will ever be a “perfect Rhysand.” BUT this guy kind of gives off that brooding but also loving vibes. I don’t know but his appearance kind of matches Rhysand in the book and I can picture him with wings so that is important.

7. Azriel: Matthew Daddario 

• I don’t think there will be anyone more perfect for this character in my opinion. Matthew is mysterious and brooding and he is always playing characters like that so he has experience. He has that like shadowy vibe (idk what that means but just go with it) and I don’t know if there is anyone else I picture more than Matthew Daddario!

8. Cassian: Kellan Lutz

• This one was tricky. I’m sure there are other actors out there who look more the part but Kellan Lutz will be the closest I will get to the casting for Cassian. He can be snarky and Kellan has played those sarcastic roles before so I think he would do Cassian justice. 

9. Mor: Margot Robbie

• She definitely has Mor’s facial appearance and from the movies I have seen of Margot she can be a badass which is necessary for Mor’s character!

10. Amren: Karen Fukuhara 

• I pictured Amren as Karen and I’m not mad about this casting but I haven’t seen her act so I think my choice for this one could be swayed very easily.

11. Amarantha: Angelina Jolie 

• I am very proud of this casting. Angelina Jolie has played the villain before. She has played Maleficent and a bunch of other roles that would make her perfect for Amarantha’s character. I can picture it perfectly!
