Reading slump definition (from Urban Dictionary ofc): “Not being able to pick up a book and read because you just can't, you just can't read.”

Soooo now onto the tips to get out of this so called “reading slump.”
**
Don’t force yourself to read:: This may be hard to do at first but the way to put yourself into more of a slump is forcing yourself to do something. Reading is something you should enjoy doing and forcing it will only make it worse.
Watch some BookTube:: When I’m in a reading slump the first thing I like to do is watch people, who have the same passion I have for books, TALK about the books I like. Some of my favorites are Abookutopia, Polandbananasbooks, and Katytastic. I also really love A Clockwork Reader. Whenever I watch their videos I am instantly in the reading mood again!
Go to bookstores:: Whenever I go to Barnes & Noble or when I take the train into the city and visit The Strand with my friends I am reminded of why I love reading. Being surrounded by the things I love usually pulls me out of my slump and back into the swing of things.
Read a few pages a day:: This kind of contradicts my first tip but I suggest reading for at least ten minutes a day when you're in a reading slump. This will put you back into the routine of reading and you will hopefully remember why you love it so much. I suggest a contemporary/ romance book because those are usually really easy to get into. Colleen Hoover’s books are really great for reading slumps!!
My last piece of advice is to not get too down on yourself:: Reading slumps suck but they happen to everyone in this community. It’s okay to take a break from reading because you should never force something, especially something you’re passionate about:)
