Hey guys! Welcome to another book haul:) Here is a list of way too many books that I have gotten in the last month. This took so long to make which should teach me not to buy so many books!

RED, WHITE, AND ROYAL BLUE by Casey McQuiston:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/41150487-red-white-royal-blue Summary: This book follows the son of the president of the United States and the prince of England. They have had it out for each other for so many years but after an incident that has caused a rift between the two countries, the two boys need to spend time together to create a truce between them. They begin to form a secret relationship that shocks even them.
This book looks extremely fun and happy. I am really excited to read it and when I do I am sure that I will love it!
THE BEAUTIFULS by Renee Ahdieh:
Summary: This novel takes place in the city ruled by the dead, New Orleans. Celine Rousseau, a girl who flees Paris is taken in by a Convent. She becomes enthralled in this world and the people involved in it. After a few dead bodies are found Celine must unfold the truths of the underworld and the age old feuds that have been going on for a long time between these dark creatures.
Another vampire book! Another Vampire book! I am really excited to read this one because as over done as it was I loved reading about vampires and I am sure there is more to explore regarding these creatures.
A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES: COLLECTOR’S EDITION by Sarah J Maas
Summary: It’s a beauty and the beast retelling. Read it.
I bought this book on a whim because I love this series with my whole entire heart and soul and I thought it was an investment. It is now sitting outwards on my shelf so everyone who comes into my room sees the beautiful designs on it.

FRANKLY IN LOVE by David Yoon:

He begins to fall for Brit, a white girl that his parents would not approve of. In order to date Brit, Frank and a fellow Korean student begin to fake date to please both of their parents.
THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE by Shirley Jackson:
Summary: Two people look for evidence that Hill House is in fact haunted. They begin to realize that this house is not just spooky.

I believe this is a show on Netflix that I am too afraid to watch. This book was sent to me in the October OwlCrate box and I am saving it for Halloween this year so I can get into the creepy mood.
THE BONE HOUSES by Emily Lloyd-Jones:
Summary: Aderyn and her siblings have been gravediggers for quite some time at the foot of a mountain once home to the fae. Their whole lives are digging graves but it is not necessarily easy when the dead do not stay dead. The risen corpses are told to be the result of an old curse. When an apprentice mapmaker, Ellis, comes to town the corpses are drawn to him. Ellis and Ryn must go on a journey deep into the mountain to find a way to stop them.
This book was sent to me in an OwlCrate box and it looks really unique and interesting. I cannot wait to pick it up!
I HOPE YOU GET THIS MESSAGE by Farah Naz Rishi:
Summary: The world may end in seven days. All because a planet named Alma has contacted earth and there are rumors that they have given the earth only a few days before they end life on the civilization.
This summary I have given is pretty vague but I feel like that is all you really need to know going into it. This summary intrigues me and I do not want to know too much of this story because starting the book.
NINTH HOUSE by Leigh Bardugo:
Summary: Alex Stern has had a pretty rough life. Raised by a hippie mother, dropped out of school, dating drug dealer boyfriends. Alex is the last to be expected to attend Yale. But she is offered an opportunity to attend this very prestigious university. But why her?
Once Alex arrives she must uncover the mysteries that plague the community around her and the occult activities going on.
I picked this book up the moment it came out. The summary drew me in from the first sentence and I cannot wait to dive into this story.
QUEEN OF NOTHING by Holly Black:
Summary: QUEEN OF NOTHING by Holly Black is the final book in the The Folk of the Air trilogy. After Jude is exiled to the mortal world by Cardan she doesn't know what to do with herself. One day her twin sister, Taryn, comes to ask Jude for a favor. Jude must return to the faerie world pretending to be her sister, which means she has to face Cardan and the faerie world once more.
I did a review for this book! Here is the link:
SCYTHE by Neal Shusterman:
Summary: Humanity has conquered hunger, war, and even death. Scythes are now the only people that can end a life and do so in order to keep the population under control. Citra and Rowan are chosen to train to become Scythes even though they do not want this role. They must learn how to end lives.
This book looks really good and I am looking forward to picking it up. The concept is so unique and interesting. The third book THE TOLL recently came out and everyone in the book community was raving about it so I am really excited to read this series.
THE HATE U GIVE by Angie Thomas:
Summary: This book follows Starr, a teenage girl who lives in a poor black neighborhood and attends a mostly white prep school. She decides to go out with her friend one night to a party and reconnects with her childhood best friend, Khalil. After there is a problem at the party Khalil tries to take starr home. On their way to Starr’s house they get pulled over by a police officer. She witnesses the unjustly shooting of Khalil at the hands of a police officer and has to face the repercussions of that night over and over again craving for justice.
I did a review on this book already (spoiler alert: I loved it!) Here’s the link to that review:
AMERICAN ROYALS by Katharine Mcgee
Summary: After the Revolutionary War, America wins, and George Washington is offered the crown. He accepts and the House of Washington still remains on the throne almost three centuries later. Princess Beatrice is about to be America’s first queen regent but is beginning to feel suffocated by the idea of it.
Princess Samantha, the spare, is not focused on unless she is doing something wrong. She only cares about the boy that she cannot have.
And then there is Samantha's twin brother, Prince Jefferson, who would have gotten the throne, except the new laws make him third in line.
I am so excited to read this book! It is the next book on my TBR.
When I read the summary I was immediately intrigued by the story. I met the author on the subway after the second day at BookCon, she was so sweet and I want to support her writing!
IT ENDS WITH US by Colleen Hoover
Summary: Lily has never had an easy life but she works hard for every accomplishment. After moving from her hometown Maine to Boston she meets Ryle, an attractive neurosurgeon she can’t get off her mind. Ryle has a soft spot for Lily as well but he does not want a relationship. She agrees to his “no dating” rule but tries to figure out why he is this way. She begins to think about her first love and once he shows up it threatens her relationship forming with Ryle.
I love everything Colleen Hoover writes so I am sure this book will not be any different. Her books emotionally hurt me so I am waiting for the perfect time to sit down and fall in love with more of her characters.
MAYBE SOMEDAY by Colleen Hoover

They begin to form a relationship through texting and writing songs together. And when Sydney finds out about her cheating boyfriend she moves in with Ridge. There is something about Ridge that Sydeny cannot help but be intrigued by and there is something about Sydney that Ridge just cannot get off his mind.
I did a whole review on my thoughts and feelings regarding this book so here is the link:
HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE: ILLUSTRATED EDITION by JK Rowling
Summary: If you do not know what Harry Potter is about I really can’t help you out at this point. If you haven’t read this series yet I highly recommend it.
My friend gave me the illustrated edition of this book for Christmas. It has so many beautiful pieces of artwork. Hopefully I will be able to take some time soon and read through it!
