Back To School Book Tag!

It’s that time of year again! BACK TO SCHOOL:): I did some research and found a back to school book tag!! I found the tag here: https://astoldbytina.net/2015/09/book-tag-back-to-school-book-tag.html

1. English/Language Arts – Name your favorite author’s (or books) writing style.

One of my favorites is DEFINITELY Sarah J Maas’s writing style! She has a way of describing a world that paints a picture perfectly in the reader’s mind.

2. Math – A book that made you frustrated

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick was a book that frustrated me on a whole new level!! I didn’t like the writing style, the characters, and the plot seemed like every YA book written a few years back.

3. Science – A book that really made you think or question things

A book that made me think about things was All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. This book opened my eyes so much to what the people around me are going through and how you need to cherish someone because life is short. This book was heartbreaking and I loved every second of it.

4. Social Studies/History – Your favorite book from a different time period.

Omg Omg The Infernal Devices was the first series to come to mind but I’m sticking to it. This book takes place in London in 1878 and I’m in love with it. It’s so cool reading about that time period and especially since it’s in London!

5. Art – Your favorite book with pictures.

I’m gonna have to say all of the Harry Potter illustrated editions! The pictures are so pretty and I love the setup of the whole thing!! It’s so cool how now children can read it and not get lost because there are pictures now!

6. Drama – A book you would love to see turned into a movie.

A Court of Mist and Fury! A Court of Mist and Fury!! Well the whole series. This will forever be my answer until it’s made into a perfect adaptation!

7. Music/Band – Name a character you think (or know) would have the same musical taste as you.

Probably Lara Jean from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. I’m assuming she likes current music but also likes some throwbacks:)

8. Lunch – A food from a book you would love to try.

Okay this isn’t a food but I would LOVE to try Butterbeer from Harry Potter! I’ve never been to Universal and I know they have it there but I’m sure it isn’t the exact replica as the book so my dream is to try the butterbeer from the books!

9. Bus Ride Home – A book or author that is relaxing.

I really love Colleen Hoover’s books. Her storylines are sometimes intense but the way her writing flows is so relaxing and it’s so easy to immerse myself in the plot.

10. Extra Credit – A book someone else told you to read and you ended up enjoying it.

Basically all of the books I read are recommended to me from people on BookTube or Bookstagram so I really don’t have an answer for this one. If I had to pick something it’d probably be The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra clare because that’s one of the first series recommended to me.

And that’s it for the tag today!! I hope you guys enjoyed it:) Let me know your answers to these questions in the comments! Also while your down there don’t be shy to subscribe to my blog to be notified for when I post!!
