The Mortal Instruments VS. The Infernal Devices Tag

Heys guys! Sorry I have been a little MIA. School’s started and it has been soooo stressful! I have a full scheudle and since it’s my senior year college applications are due any day now LOL.

So anyways! Here is the TMI vs. TID tag. I was going to inculde TDA but I’ve only read the first book in that series so far. 

1. Favorite main character: Clary or Tessa?

Clary’s cool but I love Tessa! I feel like I am able to relate to her and she’s just so amazing, how could I not pick her!

2. Favourite Herondale: Jace or Will?

WILL, WILL, WILL! I love Jace and he was one of my first book loves but Will Herondale is just… Will Herondale. Again, how could I not pick him!

3. Favourite love triangle: Simon/Clary/Jace or Will/Tessa/Jem?

I’m gonna have to pick Will/Tessa/Jem. Simon was never really a threat to Jace (sorry Simon) so I do not really consider it a real love triangle. I think the love triangle in TID is one of (if not) the best love triangle ever written.

4. Better Villain: Sebastian or the Magister?

I’m gonna go with Sebastian because I remember him better. I HATED him but I guess that means that Cassandra Clare did her job. He’s just such a good bad guy.

5. Better army: The Dark Army or The Clockwork Army?

The Dark Army for sureeeeee. I don’t remember The Clockwork Army too well (I must reread the series ASAP) but I think, even if I did remember it, I would still pick The Dark Army.

6. Better First Book: City of Bones or Clockwork Angel?

Omg DEFINITELY Clockwork Angel. As much as I love Cassandra Clare, City of Bones wasn’t the best book at ALL. She improves throughout her series and I mean Will Herondale. 

7. Better Female Sidekick: Isabelle Lightwood or Cecily Herondale?

Is this even a question?! Isabelle Lightwood. She’s so cool and badass and she is 100% better than Cecily Herondale.

8. Better Setting: The New York Institute or The London Institute?

I love New York in general (because that’s where I live) but I think I have to pick the London Institute. It’s such a cool setting and I would kill to live in London!

9. Better Last Book: City of Heavenly Fire or Clockwork Princess?

hMMMMM this is a hard one. I think I prefer City of Heavenly Fire. I loved the epilogue for Clockwork Prince but I was so much more invested in City of Heavenly Fire.

10. Better Final Epilogue: City of Heavenly Fire or Clockwork Princess?

Clockwork Princess FOR SURE. OMG. It was one of my favorite YA epiloges in the history of YA epilogues.

6/10 The Infernal Devices take home to trophy!! I kind of expected that not gonna lie.
