The Playlist Book Tag!

Hey everyone!! Today I’m going to be doing The Playlist Book Tag. Song #1:: Happiness by Rex Orange County

This song reminds me of every romance/contemporary book ever. But one that comes to mind is The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. This song is all about being there for someone no matter what and I think TFIOS really represents being by a person's side no matter the circumstances.

Song #2:: No Control by One Direction

This is an old one but it will forever be one of my favorites!! This song reminds me of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas. This song SCREAMS Rhys because honestly the lyrics are probably things he’s said before and that makes me laugh. 

Song #3:: All Too Well by Taylor Swift

This song makes me cry every single time it comes on. It’s basically about a girl who wishes she was with someone even though their relationship is over and is remembering how great it used to be. I’m listening to it right now as I type this and I’m close to crying. This song reminds me of What if it’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera. I don’t want to spoil the ending for anyone but the vibe of the book as a whole reminds me of this song.

Song #4:: Lover by Taylor Swift 

This song just came out but I’m actually obsessed with it. This song reminds me of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. Taylor’s references to Xmas lights in the beginning of the song gives me serious Lara Jean vibes. And the whole lovey dovey vibe this song gives off makes me think of Peter and Lara<3

Song #5:: Moving On by Kodaline 

I’m getting intense New Moon by Stephenie Meyer vibes listening to this song. If you don’t know what happens in New Moon  I’m about to spoil you so stop reading pleaseeee. Basically Edward leaves Bella and she’s depressed for a LONG TIME. This song is basically like maybe someday in the future we can meet again and talk but for right now I’ve gotta move on but I’m not happy about it. This song is depressing which represents Bella for more than half of that book.
