AHH welcome to my first blog post on this new site. To kick off this blog I decided to do the Book Blog Newbie Tag!

​1- Why did you start this blog? I started my blog to give myself another platform where I could express my love for books. I hope to share my favorite and least favorite books with anyone who stumbles upon this blog. I would also like this to be a safe space for anyone who doesn’t have one right now or is looking for a positive area on the internet!

2- What are some fun and unique things you can bring to book blogging? I hope I will be able to bring some fun things to book blogging but in general my opinion is one thing I am overly excited to share. I will be doing fun tags & hauls which will hopefully (fingers crossed) entertain someone. 

3- What are you most excited for about this new blog? I am excited to meet some new people! Since I joined the book community over three years ago I have met some of the greatest people ever so I hope to continue that!

4- Why do you love reading? ​This is going to sound cliche but I love reading because it is an escape from reality. I am a junior in high school, so being able to pick up a book and travel to different worlds is such a fun and cool way to destress and forget about current problems occurring in my life. And of course, the boys in books are great.

5- What book or series got you into reading? When I was younger, The Harry Potter series by JK Rowling was my first introduction to the book world. But I discovered BookTube when I researched a review for The Selection series by Kiera Cass. I want to thank JK Rowling and Kiera Cass for writing those books because I would not be where I am today if I hadn't read those books.

6- What questions would you ask your favorite authors? I would ask Sarah J Maas how she came up with the A Court of Mist and Fury series. And also how she came up with Rhysand because oh my god I love him so much.

7- What challenges do you think starting a blog will be the hardest to overcome? I have something called commitment issues so keeping up with posting on here may be hard at first but I will definitely get the hang of it (Fingers crossed).

8- When did you start reading? I started reading books when I was in elementary school but then I stopped. I started religiously reading again in seventh grade and that is when I created my BookTube channel!

9- Where do you read? I usually read in my bed but since summer is coming up I have been reading outside on my porch now and I really love it. I also read in my classes at school and my teachers are never thrilled about that.

10- What kind of books do you like to read? ​I read young adult books but more specifically I love fantasy and contemporary books. So expect to find mostly those two genres filling up the review and haul section.
